Vanbassador Van Tour | How I Hide My Shower
Due to popular demand, I’ve recorded a complete walk-through of my converted Mercedes Sprinter Van to show you what El Capitan Vans and I had been working on for the last year. I had it remodeled to serve as a mobile studio as I travel on the road to interview emerging global founders and leaders about their entrepreneurial story and ecommerce insights that they had gained along their journey. Sound like you? Click here to start watching and learning from other ecommerce entrepreneurs now.
Watch for a full tour of the custom features (some of which haven’ t yet been done in a van) along with my commentary on things you may want to consider including (or excluding) from your van build.
Below is a list of time stamps and shoppable product links of van parts that I’ve purchased and recommend. These links are meant to help guide you on your journey but we encourage you to do your own research. What works for me may not be the right fit for your needs.

Driver and Passenger Seats with Swivel Feature for Additional Seating
AlphaBeing Inflatable Lounger for Travelling, Camping, Hiking

This is where I have access to all plugs (regular, USB and USB-C which are always charged).

What’s great about this area is that it comes with a complete metal and suction cup surface to easily hold my keys, mask and other miscellaneous items that I want quick access to.
I also added additional holes to run and hide any extra electrical systems or cords.

Amazon Alexa Voice Control is wired to 4 switches to control overhead light, mood light and two max fans with multiple air circulation and fan speeds options. The interior lighting system also comes with 8 separate push button LED lights.
Last but not least…
It’s always worth mentioning that everyone should have a first-aid kit stowed away in case of any emergencies. I always keep this Swiss Safe 2-in-1 First Aid Kit (120 Piece) + Bonus 32-Piece Mini First Aid Kit in my van at all times.
If you plan on working out of your van like I do and like to write out your notes or thoughts the old-fashioned way, I love this 19” x 13” Magnetic Dry Erase Whiteboard Sheet with 3 Fine Tip Markers & Big Eraser with Magnets. Although its intended use is on a fridge, I like slapping it on my van exterior and writing out my notes for video recordings.
To keep my van interior as clean as possible, I use this 20” x 32” Non Slip, Low Profile Rubber Front Door Mat to trap outdoor mud, dirt and snow from coming in. It’s also machine-washable!
